Itinerary:

Friday September 29th

  • Arrive, check-in/set up
  • 6:30pm Sunset photography
    • Location: Sunset point.

 

Saturday September 30th

  • 6:45am Twilight/Sunrise Photography with Photog Adventures
    • Location: Inspiration point
  • 8:30am Rim Hike with Photog Adventures
    • Details: The rim hike would start right after the sunrise photo shot.  It starts at inspiration point and ends around the area of sunrise point and the trail head to the Queens Garden loop.  The total distance is about 1.4 miles and is a mild hike with spectacular vistas to photograph  along the way.  For those who don’t want to continue on the Queens Garden Loop or hike back we should take a return vehicle to the Sunrise point area to take drivers back to Inspiration to pick up vehicles.  I will arrange for this.
  • 12:00 noon Continue on to the Queens Garden Loop
    • Free time for those who don’t want to hike the Queens Garden Loop
  • 5:00pm  Club BBQ 
    • Location:   For now lets plan the BBQ at our campground (Mark and I will provide the burgers and all accessories).
    • What to bring:
      • Salad or desert
      • Camp chair
  • 6:30pm Sunset photography with Photog Adventures
    • Location” Sunset point.
  • Lunar Photography

 

Sunday October 1st

  • 6:45am Twilight/Sunrise Photography with Photog Adventures
    • Location: Sunrise Point
  • 6:30pm Sunset photography with Photog Adventures
    • Location: Sunset point.
  • 8:30pm Painting with Light Patty Ford
    • Location: Likely at her campground spot
  • Fairyland

 

Monday October 2nd

  • 8:00am Depart for Kanarrivile Falls
    • Details:  Mark Harrild researched out that there is a $10 parking fee at the trail head.

 

Tuesday October 3rd

  • 6:45am Twilight/Sunrise Photography
    • Location: Inspiration point
  • 8:00 am Navajo and Peakaboo Hike
    • Location: Sunset point area
    • Details: About 5 miles – strenuous
  • 8:00am Red Canyon Touring
    • Free Time
