The Pocatello Art Center organized and arranged to have an art exhibit at the Idaho State Capital building in Boise. The theme that was chosen what the “Spirit of Eastern Idaho”.
Donna and Roger Boe brought the idea to the Art Center and the Board accepted the idea. Artists were invited to submit photos of their works to a committee who selected the set of pieces that would be presented to the curator at the Capital Building. When they were presented, she accepted all of the suggested pieces, and set a date for the exhibit to hang in the Capital Building.
The works were gathered here in Pocatello and transported to Boise, where they were hung. We visited the exhibit and photographed the exhibit with the intention of letting people who could not see it in person have the opportunity to see pictures of it. We especially wanted all of the artists to be able to see what the exhibit looked like.
I have posted the pictures in a Gallery here. I hope that you enjoy seeing them.
